The Kokand branch of Tashkent State Technical University community has a shared purpose: to make the world a better place to live through education, research, and innovation. The Kokand branch is the first and currently the only branch of the Tashkent State Technical University in the Fergana Valley, which trains specialists in the fields of engineering, geology, economics, and technology. It was established based on the Decree 754 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the establishment of the Kokand branch of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islom Karimov on September 22, 2018.
Currently, there are two faculties acting under Kokand branch: Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Energetics. The number of teaching staff reached 38 including associate professors, senior teachers, teacher assistants. In total, there are 13 undergraduate programs and 2 taught postgraduate programs which 1, 506 students are currently enrolled in.
