Today, the people of Uzbekistan are building a new democratic society, and spirituality is one of the important aspects in its development. In solving the socio-political and cultural-educational tasks facing our country, special attention is paid to the problems of education, upbringing and development of spirituality.

It should be noted that during the years of independence, the spiritual and historical values ​​of the Uzbek people, the legacy of their great ancestors are truly becoming a world heritage. Restoration of the original history of the Uzbek state, restoration of national traditions, national culture, development of national languages ​​- all these are the new spiritual life of the people of our independent Motherland. The issue of spiritual rebirth has become one of the important priorities of state policy. Theoretical ideas and ideologies were developed for the first time in the history of the Uzbek people.

During the years of independent development of Uzbekistan, people’s thinking and outlook changed. A new generation is emerging that sees its point of view in strengthening democratic values, liberalizing economic and political life, and renewing society.

The management of the university, as well as professors and teachers, are working to restore the awareness of national identity in the formation and development of the bright thinking of the national ideology among the students at the Kokan branch of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov.

The main task today is to ensure the enrichment of our young generation with knowledge, to help them to improve their morale, to gain self-confidence and the ability to change their lives for the better.

In accordance with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 26, 2021 “On measures to radically improve the system of spiritual and educational affairs”, the “Department of Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment” was reorganized.

The department works under the leadership of the first deputy director. The staff of the department consists of the head of the department, stylists and a psychologist. At the beginning of each academic year, he prepares and approves the work plan for the academic year, presents an additional report on the activities and activities to the academic council and higher organizations.

In order to further improve the educational processes in the branch and increase its efficiency, the main tasks of the department are to lead the spiritual and educational system, to improve the work carried out in this field, to prepare the necessary scientific and methodical literature publications using advanced experience, to train employees working in all fields, to organize various clubs, sports and public clubs, organization of meetings, teaching students universal human values, respect for historical traditions, love for the Motherland, loyalty to the ideas of independence, achievements in the spiritual sphere, training of highly qualified mature professionals who meet new requirements. It consists in raising spiritually and physically mature young people who are loyal to their homeland. Conducting spiritual and educational events with talented students.

The main tasks of the department are to make students, as qualified specialists, understand the nature of socio-economic, political, spiritual and cultural tasks that are carried out in the process of strengthening the independence of our country, as well as to explain the moral foundations of preparing future specialists for independent work, logical thinking, the ability to manage a team, find a worthy place in life, self-determination, faith in the future, explaining that the great future of the country is connected with achievements.

The main directions of spiritual, educational and educational work:

  Forming students into true citizens of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of national and universal values;

Formation of national pride in students;

To glorify and enrich the best of the ancient traditions of our people;

Preparing to diligently fulfill civic and filial duties before the country;

Training students in the implementation of social policy in connection with the transition of our country to a market economy;

Conducting work on the training of young specialists who are in demand in the domestic and foreign policy of our country;

Increasing students’ responsibility to acquire a profession;

Cultivating the attitude towards the understanding of the duties towards the nation, family, parents, neighbors, neighborhood, nation;

Formation and improvement of unique individual qualities of the student as a person;

Broadly promote students’ social activity, initiative, respect for study and profession, and a sense of social responsibility;

To protect the interest of young students, to create all facilities for their education and healthy life;

To develop students’ socio-political and legal consciousness, to expand their critical and analytical thoughts;

Fight against negative vices in society, such as injustice, favoritism, bribery, nepotism and localism;

Establishing ideological immunity among students in the fight against international terrorism, religious and political extremism, drug addiction and organized crime;

Improving the addressed spiritual and moral work.

Duties of the Department of Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment:

  The department is assigned the following tasks in order to further improve and increase the efficiency of the branch educational process:

Leading the “spiritual-educational” system, coordinating work in this field;

Preparation and publication of necessary scientific-methodical literature on spiritual and educational issues using best practices;

Organization of training of all employees of the field;

Various clubs, sports, community clubs, meetings, respect for universal values, historical traditions, love for the Motherland, loyalty to the ideas of independence, the spirit of independence, widely explaining our achievements in the field of spirituality to students;

Training of highly qualified specialists who meet the requirements of a new type of mature age, educating them to be spiritually-culturally, morally-spiritually-physically competent, loyal to the Motherland and country;

Regularly improving the management system in the process of spiritual and educational education;

Development of work plan and programs of spiritual and educational education and control of its implementation;

Organizing and delivering the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the decisions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers, the orders and information of the Ministry of Higher Education, as well as the tasks specified in the “Law on Education” and the “National Personnel Training Program” to students, coaches and professors;

Delivering the essence of the speeches and reports of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the decisions made by the Cabinet of Ministers to students and teachers in a timely manner, organizing all-round explanatory work;

Establishing a system of improving the mentor-apprentice system;

To ensure the effective conduct of coaching hours conducted by mentors;

Organization of meaningful holding of “Spiritual Day” events held at the branch;

Conducting various educational meetings;

Improving the system of cooperation with law enforcement agencies in order to prevent crime;

Preparing and publishing scientific-methodical and practical literature, manuals on the issues of spiritual and educational education of students and youth, and providing educational literature;

Organization of meaningful spending of free time of students;

Organize regular monitoring of living conditions of students living in student housing and rented accommodation;

Control in order to ensure continuous, high-quality operation of sports and wellness, household service, food, recreation, cultural recreation systems at the branch;

Organizing various competitions, festivals, spartakiades, olympiads in the branch;

In order to improve the material condition of disabled students from financially poor families with many children, to carry out regular work on determining their condition and social protection, and to make proposals to the university management;

Organizing events on various topics in connection with holidays and anniversaries;

Organizing visits of students and professors to cinemas, museums, historical places of pilgrimage;

Organization and supervision of work carried out by parents of students, local authorities, charity funds, neighborhoods and faculties in the branch;

Formation of students’ national pride;

Preparing to diligently fulfill civic and filial duties and responsibilities before the country;

Organizing competitions, festivals, spartakiades, olympiads at the branch;

To ensure the participation of professors and teachers and students in various public works and events held in the republic, region, city and university;

 Making a proposal on the directions of educational work and improving their efficiency.

B. Rights :

Regular supervision of spiritual-educational and educational activities conducted in the branch, faculty, department and academic groups and student residences.

Supervision of the work of the deputy dean for spiritual and educational affairs, group coaches, student council, public organizations.

Recommending to encourage professors, teachers, workers and students who have achieved high results in their work and educational process.

Making a proposal to take disciplinary action against professors, teachers, workers and students who have violated the internal rules of the branch, rules of etiquette.

Conducting social surveys among faculty, staff and students of the branch.

The structure and financial support of the department :

It was established on the basis of the model states registered by the order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Finance dated February 21, 2017 No. 28/59, and the number of employees of the department is 5 in total. from that, the position of 1 state department head, 4 state department coordinators will be determined, depending on the number of students. The staff schedule is approved by the branch director.
